Lesson learned!
Never cook risotto with a cab sauv, even if it's the only wine you have on hand. Especially corn risotto - it looked like moldy grape jam. Tasted fine, but really unappetizing!!

Yeah, like she said, it tasted awesome, like her risotto usually does. It just looked like some kind of plum dish that I really shouldn't be putting in my mouth.
