April 2008 FTW
April 2008 is shaping up to be a doozy.

- *Getting married.* Holy fucking hell. Predictably enough, I'm a
little freaked out about getting married.
- *Where will we be living?* Who knows?? I don't know which continent,
country, city, borough, or apartment we'll be in.
- *New awesome music. *Both Gnarls Barkley and Portishead (!!!!) have
new albums coming out in April. Confidential to Portishead: it's about
freaking time! You took a vacation for how long? Next thing you know,
Melanie Rawn will actually finish what she started.

That's it for now, but we'll see what continues to develop.

Maggie, how did you deal with not freaking out about getting married? I'm not talking about the wedding prep stuff - I can plan a party easily. It's the larger commitment and what it means that freaks me out.

I only ever owned Portishead's album "Dummy" and only really, really liked "Sour Times". Is google right? - they haven't had an album since 1998?

I really love Portishead's music, and Google is totally right. TEN YEARS I've had to wait for this new album. And of course, every six months in between there'd be a new rumour about the next album.

hmmm. getting married, i suppose it'll be harder to break up with adan after you two get hitched.
you've already committed to each other for so very long.
what's another few decades?
